Oldbury Local History Group

Oldbury Local History Group was started in 1998 at Oldbury Library in Church Street to provided a forum for exchanging reminiscences of life in Oldbury and Rounds Green. These were collected into the book 'Old-time Oldbury', published in 2000. [The book is no longer in print, but can be viewed as an Adobe Acrobat file.]

Oldbury Local History Group acts as the publisher for local history books produced by the other local history societies in the area.

Meetings are held monthly, except August and December, on the third Tuesday at 2.45pm at Oldbury Library, Church Street. They usually take the form of presentations on Oldbury history by group members.

Meetings are free. There is no formal membership, and all are welcome.
